Revenge of the Protagonist v1.1.0

Hey guys!  

First off, I just want to say how absolutely incredible it is seeing you guys comment on my game, but I'd like to also extend an even bigger thanks to those who post gameplay videos!  I'll be watching each and every one, they've honestly been incredibly helpful to figure out what tweaks I need to make to gameplay.  Thank you guys so much! 

Anyway, I'm still pretty new at this whole itch.io thing, so I honestly have no clue where these "dev logs" end up.  However, I think I'll be using these to talk about what's new in updates for my games.  Here's the first update for Revenge of the Protagonist:

• Bullets now emit a light, making them much more visible 💡
• Fixed bug where attacking an already dead enemy would cause the death animation to reset (although it was hilarious to see) 🧟‍♂️
• Added sound to the elevator in the first lab area, making it more obvious that the switches at the bottom control the elevator 🔊
• Added a few more tutorial hints 💁‍♂️
• Added a ladder to that same lab area so if you go down the drop you can get back up if need be 🧗‍♀️
• Reduced enemy despawn times.  Some of the dead bodies would remain for like 2 minutes which is a bit excessive ⌚
• Moved a one blood sample to a more obvious spot...it was in an area that was more or less impossible to notice (plus i want more people to get the secret surprise ending!) 🩸
