Oh hey, it's me again, didn't see you there.

Here's an update a lot of people have been asking for.  I've added some difficulty options to the game.  In the very beginning when you select dialogue options, each option will correspond to a different difficulty.  The difficulty level determines how many lives you start with as well as how much max health you have.  

I've been hesitant to add this feature, because honestly...I don't believe in difficulty levels.  I think a well designed game should only have one difficulty, the 'right' difficulty.  The game shouldn't have to cater to the player, the player should have to adapt to the game.  

However, I'd be a fool to ignore the overwhelming feedback from everyone on the game's overly difficult nature.  This is my first full game so there's a lot to work on with my game design.  Therefore, without totally  re-writing everything to just be better overall, I've decided adding difficulty levels was the best way to make everyone happy.  

Anyway, uh, here's the update deets:

• Added difficulty levels:
  • Very Easy 👶 gets 7 lives and 1.5x health (compared to before)
  • Normal 👨 gets 5 lives and 1.2x health
  • Hard 👴 gets 3 lives and 1x health (this is basically what the game was before this)
  • Extreme gets no extra lives and 0.9x health (I've never tested Extreme so hopefully it's actually possible to beat 😬)
• Moved around / added adrenaline pickups to balance out the difficulty in some areas

Hopefully this helps people actually be able to finish this game.  The last boss is awesome, please don't give up!
